Sipa Khorlo

  Sipa khorlo  literally means the wheel of existence. It's called as Bhavachakra in sanskrit. It is believed that sipa khorlo is one of the oldest iconography in Buddhist art. The wheel of life represents the existence cycle of birth, life and death. Scripture were painted on walls near the main door of monasteries and temples. The scripture consists of four important layers. The outer layer is divided into twelve parts which indicate the twelve karmic link, the third layers contain six realms, the second layer is consists of white path and black path and the inner and small layer contains three poison. In the layer of twelve karmic link, it includes 1.Marigpa/ignorance(Avidya in skt), 2.Dudhjay/ Perception(Samkara), 3.Namshey/ (vinan) Realization, 4.Mizug/name and forms (Nammarapa), 5.Kemchey/sense(Ayatana), 6.Regpa/contact(sparsh), 7.Tshorwa/Sensation(vedana), 8.Segpa/Attachment(Trishna), 9.Lenpa/Grasping(Adana), 10.Seeba/Becoming(Bhava), 11.kewa/Birth(Jati), 12.Gay-she/Age...

Four schools of Tibetan Buddhism

 The Buddhist schools in Tibet were divided into four different schools. They were Nyingma (early translation or oldest school), Kagyu (oral transmission), Sakya (pale earth or Grey earth) and Gelug (Virtuous one. Out of four school Nyingma is the oldest school of Tibetan buddhism. The teaching was founded by Guru Padma sambhawa in the 8th century. The school practices Dzongchen or great perfection which focus on the realization of innate nature of mind.  Kagyu is often known as oral transmission or lineage. This school practice ls meditation particularly Mahamudra(great seal) and the six Yogas of Naropa. The  Kagyu school come to alive in the 11th century by Marpa and his disciple Milarepa. Sakya school was founded in 11th century by Konchok Gyelpo. Teachings of Buddha

 Buddha taught the three jewels of Buddhism, Buddha, Dharma and sangha which means teacher, teaching and community since these three are the learning journey towards Nirvana. Firstly teacher refers to Buddha Siddhartha Gautama. He is considered as teacher and guide for all the Buddhist to follow. Secondly, the teachings which includes the Buddha's teaching such as four noble truths and eight fold paths. Lastly, the community which refers to a community of monastic or Buddhist community which they belong. Moreover, Buddha highlights that the nature of existence is full of suffering so, to get out of those suffering and to get enlightenment four noble truth and eight fold path is must.

Life of Buddha

                           Buddha   Gautama Buddha was born in the family of king Suddhodhana and Queen Maya Devi after been long time without child in their family. The Buddha was born after Queen dreamed about the white elephant with six tusk coming from the sky and entering her body from the right chest. After Queen bclecome pregnant she went to meet her parents. On the way in the place called lumbini garden she took a rest and she gave birth from the left arm pit while she tries to pluck a branch from the tree. As soon as the Buddha was born he took seven step and from every step flowers were bloomed.  Then Queen went back to their palace and unfortunately Queen died due to serious sickness but Buddha was lovely taken care by his mother's sister(aunt). At the age of seven Buddha started his schooling but his father gave him all the material pleasure to stop him from from leaving the palace. And then...
