Teachings of Buddha

 Buddha taught the three jewels of Buddhism, Buddha, Dharma and sangha which means teacher, teaching and community since these three are the learning journey towards Nirvana. Firstly teacher refers to Buddha Siddhartha Gautama. He is considered as teacher and guide for all the Buddhist to follow. Secondly, the teachings which includes the Buddha's teaching such as four noble truths and eight fold paths. Lastly, the community which refers to a community of monastic or Buddhist community which they belong. Moreover, Buddha highlights that the nature of existence is full of suffering so, to get out of those suffering and to get enlightenment four noble truth and eight fold path is must.

Sipa Khorlo

  Sipa khorlo  literally means the wheel of existence. It's called as Bhavachakra in sanskrit. It is believed that sipa khorlo is one of the oldest iconography in Buddhist art.
